This is a truly authentic Mexican restaurant!! The workers were so inviting and had great attitudes and even recommended things for me when I couldn't figure out what I wanted :) and not mention I've tried Micheladas all over Reno and none of them have been as good as the one I've had today!!! Definitely coming back for another quesabirria

I'm always on the hunt for great tacos and tacos los campesinos does not disappoint. From the Carne asada tacos to the Chilaquiles and the Quesabirria tacos it is all so great and delicious. The tacos made with handmade tortillas and the perfectly seasoned as well as a delicious and tasty consomé to dip those tacos into it. The chilaquiles were a great taste as well not to spicy for those who don't like the hot sauce. Everyone is so friendly and polite a family owned business. Be sure to check them out when you have a chance.

I had a late lunch at Tacos Los Campesinos Reno. I ordered Sope de Carnitas, Taco de Asada and Guacamole & Chips. Every single thing was Top Quality! The chips and tortillas are homemade and the salsas were amazing!

Real Mexican food! Not Tex-Mex; not Maui-Mex; No scoop of sour cream and guacamole. This is the real south of the border deal. Spanish spoken here, so they sent out an English speaking gal to take our order. Every other table was served by a fast moving, charismatic waiter with a wonderful smile. Our food was fast, authentic, excellent, and filling. The service was good. The tortillas were obviously made by hand and had a great slightly smoky flavor. The restaurant was spacious and not "trying to look Mexican". I'll be back.

Handmade tortillas! That's one of the many reasons why you should check this spot out. TACOS! Tacos! TACOS! We came for Valentine's Day and it was consistently busy during dinnertime. We were immediately greeted and seated. Service was overall speedy and they were very friendly. This is a hidden gem! We ordered tacos and were pleasantly surprised to see our tacos served on pink handmade tortillas. These tacos did not disappoint. The fresh tortilla was perfectly grilled. The meat was tender and full of flavor! The carne asada, al pastor, and Birria were all bomb! The Birria was juicy and on point! A perfectly made street taco! The rice was perfectly made too. Their menu seems pretty simple, but the options are nothing short of deliciousness. They have a Birria pizza that looked amazing, gonna have to try that next time! If you're a Michelada fan, be sure to try one! It was on point and paired perfectly with my tacos. I can't wait to get back for Taco Tuesday! I look forward to trying more of their menu....don't sleep on this family owned restaurant!!

This restaurant is legit - wow! Don't know how we missed it for so long. It's located off of Kietzke in a strip mall - very unassuming from the front. Then you open the door and BAM! There's a party going on inside! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed but we were sat right away. Very friendly staff although service was a little slow (probably because it was so busy). I ordered the quesabirria and my husband got the birria combo which he thought was three birria tacos with rice and beans but was actually a plate of birria meat with tortillas on the side. It was all very good but a little more detail on the menu would be helpful. Will definitely go back.

Cruising back from an event downtown and the craving hit... TACOS! A quick brainstorm showed that Los Campesinos was on the way home and the promise of tender handmade tortillas, grilled and griddled to perfection and packed with all the best carnes around was just too much. So we hit it and got there in no time, while following the speed limit of course. I was in a snack mood, so chips and salsa plus a big beefy quesabirria with hot salsa was the ticket. Wifey was a little more hungry so she got Al pastor and quesabirria, and you know we had to get a Tamarindo Jarritos, which we shared because damn they're good but so sweet! We dined in and even though we weren't doing much the servers were extremely attentive and friendly with a pretty busy dining room for late on a weeknight. I'm reminded of just how great this family owned and operated restaurant is and why literally everyone in town should be checking it out. If this review motivated you to get in there, let me know!

So I have been here a total of 3 times I have not actually come in and sat down to eat. 1 was work got us tacos and that was the first time that I had it and it was really good. I really enjoyed it . 2nd time I ordered some tacos and a few other things I can't quite remember, but I remember it still being very good. 3rd Time was tonight 10-4 big buddy (see what I did there) lol anyWho I ordered about 12 tacos because sometimes I'm greedy but I got 6 Pastor 4 Pollo and 2 Asada. For me the tacos tonight were OK. The last couple of times they seem to be really good. I'm not sure if maybe the order got mixed up, but I really did not taste the flavor of the pastor as usual seemed a little dry, not too much sauce or anything the Pollo tacos they were OK as well and same with the Asada little over cooked. It just didn't seem like it was as good.. I still enjoyed my food but I just remember being a little more flavor with the meat. They don't seem to skimp on the meat in the tacos , they are pretty packed . Of course the handmade tortillas to single tortilla is delicious. Like I said, it's still very good. Sometimes some of your favorite restaurants or places you like to go to just have enough night. This is not me and I will not go back. My son had the chicken quesadilla with rice and beans and he enjoyed that. Also I had a nice large Michelada to go little extra spicy and it was very good. The restaurant is a nice very big size the two times that I've been in there. It seems very clean and very nice. Very nice bar area and TVs around especially for sports stuff. Refer to photos , still recommend. Enjoy
